Max and Kelcey’s love story is the kind that fairytales are made of. When they reached out to us in the late summer of 2022, we were instantly captivated by their story and the dreams they had for their special day.
High school sweethearts, Max and Kelcey had a vision to exchange their vows in the backyard of Kelcey’s grandparents, the very same place where her parents had tied the knot 30 years earlier. It was a place filled with history, love, and cherished memories, and they couldn’t have chosen a more perfect setting.
With a date set, Kelcey’s beloved “popop” went to work meticulously preparing his yard to ensure it was absolutely perfect for his granddaughter’s big day. His dedication and love were evident in every corner of the yard.
Their wedding day unfolded like a page from a fairytale book, beginning with a heartwarming first look by the serene Teton River, the very spot where Max had proposed to Kelcey. It was a moment filled with love and nostalgia, setting the tone for the magical day ahead.
As the day progressed, clouds gathered over the Teton Valley, bringing rain with them. Those familiar with the area know that rain can either linger all day or give way to clear skies in a matter of minutes. Thankfully, the heavens smiled upon Max and Kelcey, granting them a beautiful, rain-kissed day. While the rain caused a slight delay for Kelcey’s walk down the aisle, it only added to the romantic ambiance.
As vows were exchanged, Kelcey made a heartfelt promise to Max, vowing “to always love you like my 17-year-old self.” Those words resonated with everyone in attendance, bringing tears to their eyes, a testament to their enduring love and commitment.
After sayind “I do” Mr. and Mrs. Flower, led their guests along a picturesque path, lovingly crafted by Popop, leading to his beautifully manicured yard. Here, under the clear sky, guests enjoyed cocktails, dined, danced, laughed, and celebrated the union of two souls deeply in love.
The remainder of the evening was filled with heartfelt toasts. Kelcey’s parents were extra tearful as they reflected on their own wedding union 3 decades prior with many of the same people.
For us at Magnolia Ranch, Max and Kelcey were a dream to work with. They were the first couple to sign with us after we launched our planning services, and their wedding day coming full circle was immensely fulfilling for our business. Being able to plan, design, coordinate details, and provide rentals allowed us to reach some of our most significant business goals.
With two decades of experience in the wedding industry, adding planning services felt like a natural progression for us. We relish being as hands-on as possible, giving our couples the freedom to savor their engagement while we handle the logistics.
We are incredibly grateful to Max and Kelcey for taking a chance on us. Their love story and wedding day will forever hold a special place in our hearts, a testament to the magic that can be created when love, history, and a touch of rain come together to create a fairytale wedding.
